Can be used alone or in combination with other components for laying directly on the ground, in containers or in trenches. The substrate can be used for hydroponic, soilless, and greenhouse cultivation of any crop as a more effective alternative to soil.
Unlike conventional bags with substrate, coconut substrate blocks are light and compact, facilitating and speeding up transportation on site. The blocks can be placed on the ground or placed inside containers. After adding water, the blocks expand, creating 7 times the volume of the substrate.
